LORD HAVE MERCY ON ME: DELIVERANCE FROM ALL TYPES OF AFFLICTION

Afflictions come in different forms—physical, emotional, spiritual, and even financial. In times of distress, crying out for God’s mercy is a powerful prayer for deliverance. Mercy is God’s unmerited favor, and His love is abundant for those who seek Him. Throughout the Bible, we see examples of people calling upon the Lord’s mercy and receiving deliverance.
Psalm 51:1-2 – “Have mercy upon me, O God, according to Your lovingkindness; according to the multitude of Your tender mercies, blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.”
Lamentations 3:22-23 – “Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.”
Psalm 34:17-19 – “The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.”
Luke 18:38-39 – “And he cried out, saying, ‘Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!’ Then those who went before warned him that he should be quiet; but he cried out all the more, ‘Son of David, have mercy on me!’”
